MAY THEME:
“Let’s Celebrate Prayer!”
Ring! Ring! Your phone’s ringing. It’s God on the other end. That’s what happens when you hear God’s Word. He initiates a conversation with you to speak to your cares and concerns and to remind you that He is your benevolent heavenly Father. That’s the ear piece fo your phone, but God also gives you a mouthpiece. That’s called prayer. It’s a chance to respond back to Him and talk to He who promises, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you” (Matthew 7:7). And, you know how He responds? Again, with His Word. Through His Word and through our prayers back and forth each day, the conversation continues and the relationship is strengthened. What a gift that we have access to the God of the universe anytime we need and that He speaks to us also through His Word. That’s something to celebrate!WOULD YOU LIKE TO SERVE ON A BOARD??
