Golfing Season is here! Mark the date!
The annual TLS Golf Tournament date has been set for Saturday, September 21 at Wildcat Golf Course in Shellsburg. Shot gun start at 10am. Steak dinner included! Team registration forms are on the website: http://school.trinitycr.org

This Week in the Classrooms....

Early Childhood:
Preschool students are studying the letter x, learning about dinosaurs, and digging for fossils. Kindergarteners are learning about pronouns, flying kites, and working with tangrams. The first graders are making tape measures, learning the concept of a dozen, and reading about not giving up. The second graders are involved in a unit on the rainforest.

Elementary :
The third graders are working with mixed numbers, telling time by the quarter, and studying how communities change over time. The fourth graders are writing five-paragraph essays. The fifth graders are multiplying and dividing fractions, learning about geometric solids, and studying prayer.
 
Middle School:
All classes are learning about geometry. The sixth grade is learning about Ancient Rome and astronomy. The seventh grade is learning about modern genetics and hereditary diseases. The eighth grade is watching "The Passion of the Christ."

Exciting things coming up are the music concert, school play, track meet, field days, and snow make up days.
