Call update: Rev. Scott Porath of Eagle, NE has declined our call. The call committee will be meeting soon to consider candidates.

The new roof is going up! Drive by and take a look, and pray for dry weather so it can be finished quickly.

Trojan Dash
went well last weekend. We had 110 participants in the 5k obstacle run at Camp Io-Dis-E-Ca last weekend, which is great for a first year. The weather was just right, and we received many compliments on the course, which was laid out by the Oxleys. Thanks to all our volunteers and those who ran!

Call Returned

posted Feb 20, 2013, 9:45 AM by Pat Powell   [ updated Feb 20, 2013, 9:46 AM ]

Rev. Kirk Clayton has returned our call. The call committee will be meeting soon to consider candidates to present to the voters. Stay tuned for updates.

Our congregation chairman, Phil Beck comments:
Trinity members, even though Pastor Clayton has returned our call, we should not feel that all is lost.  We are still receiving God’s gifts. Pastors Miller and Rothchild are still preaching the Word and administering the Sacraments. Christ is still looking out for His Bride (the Church). We all need to keep in mind that Christ has promised us that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is there. He has promised us He will always be with us. He knows who He has for us, we need to bear with patience. Lord we believe, help our unbelief.
Together in Christ,
  Phil Beck

Sun., Jan. 27 - 10:30 service only, potluck follows

We're so excited about celebrating National Lutheran Schools Week, which is January 27 through February 1!  On Sun., Jan. 27, we will have a special service that involves our students at 10:30, and a potluck for all the church and school families right after the service. Please plan to come to the potluck. Each family is asked to bring table service and two dishes to share.

We want to bring our church and school family together as ONE on Sunday at the 10:30 service. We will NOT have an 8:00 a.m. service that day (Jan. 27). We WILL have Bible studies and Sunday School as usual.

We have been blessed to have a Lutheran school since 1884, the year Trinity was founded. Our forefathers wasted no time: the church was founded in August and school started in November! We're proud of our school and the well-rounded education we provide, and we are thankful for the countless opportunities it has given us to "Make Christ Known" to so many souls.
